In the spotlight are three key “fashion institutions” for Moscow and the whole country: Mod Atelier, the House of Models on Sretenka, and the All-Union House of Fashion Models on Kuznetsky Bridge.
Each of them played an important role in the formation of the fashion model house system.
The “Model Houses” exhibition tells the story of how the concept of a unified clothing modeling system developed in the past century.
The exhibition brings together sketches and projects of women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing collections, numerous pattern publications that provide an insight into the evolution of style, photographs, and audiovisual chronicles of famous fashion shows.
The exhibition features materials
from artists’ family archives
and private collections.
The centerpiece of the exhibition
is the All-Union House of Fashion Models
on Kuznetsky Most Street.
