Exhibition “The Era of Erte” Introduces Audiences to the Artistry of the Prominent Russian Artist Roman Petrovich Tyrtov, Better Known by the Alias Erte.
This project is unique not only in its artistic value but also in its biographical significance, shedding light on the artist himself and his creative journey.
The foundation of the "The Era of Erte" exhibition consists of colorful engravings created during the later period of the master's artistic career.

The exhibition is complemented by bronze sculptures, decorative art objects, magazines and covers from the 1910s to the 1930s, as well as unique theatrical sketches.
Roman Tyrtov’s multifaceted talent and his colossal creative legacy have shaped the essence of the Art Deco era, unveiling new facets of style and defining its diversity.

Erté skillfully combined the decorative richness of the East with Japanese minimalism, the allure of Art Nouveau with the spirit of the modern era, and refined eroticism with rhythmic composition.
Each of the artist’s works is a hymn to the beauty of the human body, a captivating play of imagination, and an endless reverence for his singular ideal – the artistry of dance in motion.
