Exhibition “GRADUATION. HISTORY. SURIKOV” was a logical continuation of Zaryadya’s first project in the Parking Gallery – “EXHIBITION-23”.
The exhibition featured more than 160 authors whose works cover the era from 1934 to the present day, with an accent on the time of the Institute’s active growth, when new faculties and workshops were born.
The lighting landscape of the exhibition is quite intimate and accentuated, like in “old” museums. It was important to emphasize the status of the art institution and the authors of the highest class
The architecture of the space itself was relegated to the background, the main visual accent was on the works.
Our team had previously developed a universal lighting system for this exhibition space, and used it to create a new visual identity for this exhibition.
The uniform color temperature of the devices 3500K and high color rendering allows showing the color palette of the works in all its richness. For works with a warm color scheme were used devices with a warm color temperature – 3000K.
