STONE TOWERS

Date:

2020

Location:

Moscow

Project team:

Architect: Tsimaylo Lyashenko & Partners

STONE TOWERS is a premium business quarter in the Belarusskaya business district.

The complex consists of 4 main buildings with symmetrical architecture. The facades overlook Bumazhny Proezd, Pravda Street and the Savelovskaya interchange, which increases the visibility of each building.

The light environment is an important component of a city dweller’s life. In times when cities are oversaturated with light, we can return to the roots and highlight only the main things.

The rhythm of the facades stands out when vertical elements are illuminated. The main light is concentrated on the tops, fading to the bottom, which emphasizes the concept of descending light.
Concentrating on the upper floors, the light highlights their main architectural elements, giving each one an individuality that is visible from any vantage point.

Fading to the bottom, the light moves into the urban space, becoming functional and calmer.
