The Discovery of America room isn’t
about America, it’s about discovering
a new world.
Viktor discovered it for himself
when he left the USSR.
The exposition space
is dedicated to his dreams,
emotions and inspiration.
Tsoi’s childhood dream to see the Disneyland came
true in America. They say it was one of the happiest
moments of his life.
The Discovery of America hall can rightfully be called the
brightest hall of the entire exposition.
Bright colors convey children’s
delight and the joy of discovering
something new.
This is a synthesis of the art of Tsoi, Disneyland and a souvenir
shop. The figures, similar to drawn by a child’s hand dinosaurs,
have become real inhabitants of the hall.
Small GOBO projectors hidden in some
of the figures project images onto the walls.
This means that the general light is contraindicated here. Therefore,
we left only light accents on the exhibits. Even without active lighting,
the yellow floor added brightness to the room.
