This incredibly beautiful and visually light
hall is dedicated to the film The Needle
by Rashid Nugmanov.
The participation in this film gave Tsoi
the love of the people.
There are storyboards of the film on the wall and huge
plastic transparent snowballs with a white figure of Tsoi –
Moro inside.
The scenography of the exposition is built
on the intersection of the same poles as in the cinema.
From the beautiful desert we find ourselves in a snowy park,
where the final scene of the film unfolds.
The wounded Moreau
dissolves into the darkness
of a winter evening. We do
not know anything about
his future fate.
The central composition of the hall was
the installation Snowball Memento Moro
by the Doping Pong art group. We decided to support
the installation with absolutely weightless white light.
Dotted figures created soft dissolving shadows
all over the “winter” part of the hall.
