The first hall is built according
to the timeline principle: here you can find
out key information about Tsoi’s life from
biographical texts, concert posters,
documentary photos and videos.
The architects have prepared a bright
and memorable concept:
yellow-black lines swirl into a spiral
and rest against the Tsoi’s portrait.
There was non-standard design, original
exhibits, whose lighting should not exceed
50 lux, and text on the floor and ceiling.
This all required bold technical solutions.
We had to install the bus duct vertically behind the showcases.
Thanks to the ovalizing light spot, extra light hadn’t been seen on the walls,
and every yellow stripe on the ceiling was brightly highlighted.
